On 13th November, we were proud to celebrate a huge milestone, 40 years of Basingstoke ITEC. The evening brought together our apprentices, former apprentices, employer partners, the ITEC team, and many wonderful guests who have supported us throughout the years.
It was fantastic to welcome our local MP, Luke Murphy, who took the time to speak with employers and apprentices about the impact of apprenticeships in our community.
A special moment of the night came from Ben Parsons of SCG Connected, who began his journey as an ITEC apprentice back in 1997. Hearing how his apprenticeship helped launch his career was a real highlight and a reminder of the long-term difference these opportunities make.
We also want to thank Tally from Bespoke IT Solutions UK, who spoke about how apprenticeships have supported her company and encouraged others to invest in developing new talent.
The celebration was a chance to reflect on how far we’ve come and to thank everyone who has been part of our journey, whether you’ve trained with us, employed apprentices, partnered with us, or supported our mission in any way.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so memorable. We look forward to continuing to support apprentices and employers for many years to come.
